For over 31 years Bill Fitzsimmons has brokered commercial real estate. During this time, he has been involved in all facets of commercial transactions representing a diverse group of sellers and buyers. He sold a 12-story, 66 unit luxury apartment building, and helped create the Quad Cities first condominium conversion for the new owners. He sited 6 Wal Marts in the early days of that company's rapid expansion. Bill has also fee consulted with clients making major real estate decisions including bank trust departments.
Prior to entering the commercial real estate profession in 1976, Bill served for 14 years as City Planner, then Director of Community Development for the City of Rock Island. During this period, he was involved in overseeing economic development, code enforcement and community planning for the City of Rock Island.
Bill's entire real estate career has been spent in development & investment practice. Site selection & development has been an extension of his municipal planning background, and office brokerage with emphasis in medical facilities is his specialty.
Bill has compiled an extensive client list including many Fortune 500 companies & governmental units. In addition, he has completed numerous assignments for not-for-profit organizations.
